BlackForge Sports™ · Starting with baseball

Every game counts.

Live scores and box scores. A player card that builds itself from real games. Arm-care tracking that knows when to rest. All in one app, with parents in control.

  • Free to join
  • Parent-controlled profiles
  • Baseball first, more sports coming
  • iPhone first
A finished game: Bay Area Bandits 4, Scottsdale Scorpions 1, with side-by-side team stats, batting averages and top performers.
Personal best card: exit velocity 75.5 mph, coach-verified, 2.8 mph better than before. Milestone card: first career home run.

Live scores

Follow every game, pitch by pitch.

Open any game and see it four ways. Follow along from the bleachers, the car or the couch, then replay the whole thing later.

Team stats head to head — runs, hits, walks, strikeouts — plus batting averages and the top performers of the game.

  • A week calendar of every game, with filters for your teams
  • Color-coded plays you can scan in seconds
  • Milestones and personal bests turn into cards on their own
Diamond view of a finished game with team stats and top performers. Line view with a how-it-went timeline and an inning-by-inning line score. Box view with each batter’s line and the pitcher’s numbers. Plays view listing every play by half-inning with color-coded results.

Broadcast replay

Relive it play by play.

Any finished game can be replayed on the diamond, with the count, the batter and the pitcher, and every play as it happened.

Broadcast replay: the diamond, the count, the batter and pitcher, and a running play-by-play.
The Games tab: a week calendar, team filters and the day’s final scores.

The player card

A baseball card that builds itself.

Every scored game updates the card: batting, pitching, trophies. Nothing on the stats screen is hand-entered, so what you see is what happened.

  • Career and season stats, derived from scored games
  • Recent form at a glance
  • A trophy case that fills up as the season goes
  • Measurables like exit velocity and the 60-yard dash, each marked Parent-entered or Coach-verified
Player profile: a player card with photo, exit velocity, ERA and a card score of 80, above career totals and recent form.
Player stats: career batting and pitching totals, derived from scored games.

Highlights that make themselves

Milestones, personal bests and season lines become shareable cards.

Personal best card: exit velocity 75.5 mph, coach-verified, 2.8 mph better than before. Player of the game card: MVP, 7.0 innings, 7 strikeouts, 0 earned runs.
Season line card: .452 average, .553 on-base percentage, 14 hits, 0 stolen bases. Milestone card: first career home run. Card updated: exit velocity up from 63.8 to 66.8 mph.

Arm care

Know when to rest.

Pitch counts come straight from scored games. BlackForge tracks a rolling 30-day load, shows the day cap for your player’s age, and tells you the date to rest until.

  • 30-day load, day cap and rest-until date at a glance
  • A heads-up on the home screen when workload runs high
  • Plain-English guidance on what to throw this week

Guidance is advisory and based on published youth pitch-count recommendations. It isn’t medical advice: a coach and a doctor outrank this screen.

Arm care screen: 30-day load 796, an 85-pitch day cap and a rest-until date, with a note that guidance is advisory.
Arm health alert on the home screen: high 30-day rolling load, time to rest, with a See the details button.
The Create menu: Game, Tournament or Team.
New game screen with a voice option: or say the matchup, for example Bandits at Pirates, Saturday at ten.

For coaches

Name it, or just say it.

Set up a game, a team or a tournament by typing or by talking. “Bandits at Pirates, Saturday at ten, Memorial Park.” Done.

  • Create games, teams and tournaments in a few taps
  • Players join with a code, so your roster fills itself
  • Games land on everyone’s schedule
  • Adults create these. Kids just play

Built for families

Parents run the show.

Youth sports should feel good for the whole family. So you decide who sees your athlete, and who gets to follow.

  • You choose who sees what

Public or private, athlete by athlete. A private profile shows only a mini card until you approve a follow request.

  • Follow requests come to you

Approve or decline from the Family screen, in one tap.

  • Kids under 13 need a parent

A parent creates the profile, and consent is confirmed by email before it goes live, as children’s privacy law requires.

  • One account, every athlete

Manage more than one child in the same place, each with their own privacy settings.

Family screen: follow requests with Approve and Decline buttons, the athletes you manage, and an option to add a child under 13.
Privacy settings: a public-profile toggle and a show-reaction-counts toggle for each athlete.

Tournaments & leagues

Running a tournament or a league?

Create the event, enroll the teams and let families follow every game in one place, from a weekend classic to a full rec season.

  • Name your tournament, or just describe it
  • Teams join with a code
  • Scores, box scores and play-by-play for every game

Scores, cards, highlights and arm workload fill in as games get scored.

Questions

The short answers.

What is BlackForge Sports?

A mobile app for youth baseball. Follow games live, keep box scores and play-by-play, build a player card from real games, track pitch counts and arm workload, and share highlights, with parents in control of every child’s profile.

Is it free?

It’s free to join.

When can I get it, and what does it run on?

BlackForge Sports is in early access on iPhone. Join the list and we’ll email you when it’s your turn. Android isn’t available yet.

Which sports does it support?

Baseball first, with divisions like 12U and 14U. We’re starting there on purpose and building for every youth sport, so one BlackForge account can follow your family across sports as they come. Join the list and we’ll let you know.

Who can see my child’s profile?

You choose, athlete by athlete. A public profile can be browsed and followed. A private profile shows only a mini card until you approve a follow request. Parents manage requests from the Family screen.

How do accounts for kids under 13 work?

A parent creates the profile. We email the parent to confirm consent before the profile becomes fully active, as children’s privacy law requires.

Where do the stats come from?

From scored games. Career and season stats are derived from the games themselves, so nothing on the stats screen is hand-entered. Measurables such as exit velocity or a 60-yard dash are labeled Parent-entered or Coach-verified.

Is the arm-care guidance medical advice?

No. It’s advisory. Pitch counts come from scored games, and the guidance is based on published youth pitch-count recommendations. A coach and a doctor outrank the screen.

I run a league or tournament. Can I use it?

Yes. Adults can create tournaments, enroll teams and follow every game. Tell us about your event with the form below.
